I fly a 601 hybrid (601 wings, tail group on a tandem fuselage) off a grass strip. because of that, I have changed the main wheels to something wider and would like to do the same with the nose gear. (see photo)

I understand Zenith make a wide nose gear fork for some of the planes, can anybody tell me

1. What material is used, is it 6061 T6 or something else ?

2. The photos I see look as though it is 1 piece about 10mm thick. The existing fork is 2 x 6mm pieces.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
