Hello All,

Well I finally get to FLY to Sun and Fun instead of having to fight Tampa traffic to drive, like I have for the last 10 years that I've been building 9BC

I've watched the few videos on YouTube regarding arrival procedures, I've read the arrival procedures brochure put out by SnF, I even have the arrival procedure loaded into my EFB. so I'm pretty sure I have a decent understanding of what to expect ARRIVING

My question is DEPARTING that day.  I don't plan to camp-I'm based 30 minutes north @ KZPH and the airshow is scheduled to end @ 1730. How long does it take to get back out of LAL and headed home?  I don't have a landing light, because night flying is just something I don't do. Sunset that day is 1930, so as long as I'm out by 1830, that allows an hour for a :30 flight (I can't imagine lined up and waiting for an hour to depart??)

In the consensual experience, how long will it take (on average) to get off the ground at LAL?)

Hope to see you there!  I'll be parking in the HB section
