I figured I would share this.

I play with CAD in my day job so this stuff interests me.  I bought a 3d printer and started learning a new CAD program to build "stuff".  It is a learning curve to say the least, but I'm getting there.

On our CH650 I have never liked the solution we had for brake lines so I set out to fix it.

Here is what I came up with.  The little fairing traps the brake line and then cleans up the gear aerodynamically.  It is an "experimental prototype" but I got them mounted yesterday.  It was a bit of a fight getting the brake lines in the channel, but it seems to have worked.  I just used a greenhouse plastic tape to put them on.  I made the straight extensions long and then made to size with a chop saw.

The plastic is the basic PLA and it may break or whatever but I don't care.  First try and proof of concept and all.

I'm sure we will gain 20 knots!  ;)

I'm not interested in printing or selling them, btw, but would be happy to share the files.
