Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers
Hi, All;
I'm working on the aft fuselage sides, and I've been skipping forward in the plans just to see if there's anything I can rivet in place at this time.
I found some holes on the fuselage sides that don't correlate to anything I'm aware of.
Please see the pic below. From what I can see in the C75-FA-x pages, it's never mentioned.
Thanks!

To me this looks like the L-angle which supports the aft end of the flaperon control's mixing bar bearing block.
Well, duh..... Thanks Loren! I looked all thru the "fuselage" parts/drawings/builder guides and could never find it. Then once you mentioned, it, there it was in the "controls" portion of the plans. To make matters worse, there are no CRUZER builder guides available, so I had to go to the website for the 750 and there it was - 303 mm long.
You're welcome. I didn't realize Zenith did not provide a builders guide; that sucks.
On another matter, if you plan to install a 4-point harness, you might consider not adding the upper harness support as it slightly disfigures where the skin rivets to the longeron. At least it does on the STOL.
Good tip on the 4 pt harness. Thanks.
I realize now what I typed. Yes, CRUZER builder guides are available and online. Well, MOST of them are. All the controls-specific instructions, as well as the fuel tank, are not available for the Cruzer, so those are the ones for which we have to use the STOL version.
