Has anyone installed a Ivoprop on a 80hp 912, CH701. If so, what size of propeller did you go with and how do you like its performance? I am thinking of getting the 3 blade high pitch model ground adjustable 68”. This was their recommendation.
If you have a 80hp 912 what did you use?

Andrew, I’ve owned both an IVO prop on a Rotax 503 and a Warp Drive 3 blade on a Rotax UL 80 hp in the past, both on Kolb aircraft.. In my opinion, the Warp Drive is a much better prop for the 912. Very tough, easy to adjust, and reasonably priced.

Thanks for your response. I was also considering the warp drive. What size did you use for the 912?

My buddy Kyle Woodfill hangars right next to me, he has a new 701 w/912 ULS spinning a 70” 3 blade taper tip stainless leading edge Warp Dirve prop. It works great.

Check the MMI of any prop before purchasing.  Rotax specifies a min and max for the 912 and some props do not meet this requirement.

Thanks again for your comments and information I will definitely check out Rotax’s recommendations!
