After waiting 5 weeks for a new muffler it arrived today. It has 6 inlets but no outlet. I guess I’m supposed to drill a hole and weld the outlet pipe to it. Has anyone had to do this on their Jabiru engines?

I have not. But, for the 3300 two outlet pipes would be nice..
When I ordered it I was asked if I wanted one pipe or two, I told them one not none.
My muffler arrived like this, it is so it can be fitted to any aircraft. The best way is to fit the muffler and cowl, sharpen the end of a long rod and position it on the muffler to miss everything give it a tap to locate bottom hole, cut hole and repeat for top hole, the pipe on mine went through the muffler and was welded both sides.
hi joe,
how bad was the first muffler cracks? where were they? could it be repaired? do you want to sell it?
