Just Ordered My Viking 130 with the Big 4th July Sale
Letting everyone know that Viking just started a big sale for the 4th of July. You can give them a call about it. I ordered mine and asked to take delivery at the end of the year so that I will be closer to having the airframe complete.

I got it by email from being a member on their forum. I think I will go against zenith rules if I copied the email here. Send me a friend request if you want me to send a copy to you or just call them. The earlier you do this the slightly bigger the discount ending 4 July.

What happened to building the Corvair?

My original goal was to get the most horsepower for the dollar at a respectable weight. When Viking put the 130 on sale, it was cheaper then what I could build a 120hp Corvair for with no cooling issues.Gas direct injection was a bonus. Not only does it have more horsepower, it has a lot more torque. It seems like an overall better option for me.

I see. Don't blame you. 600lbs of thrust is quite amazing. Just a little concerned because it's so new. Honda makes awesome machines. No doubt. But this is a new application. It's tempting though. For a Cruzer to out perform a CH750 STOL, really is impressive.
