Just curious, but is their any experience or advice in tweaking the design of the Zenith nose gear shock suspension pucks to specifically optimize it with an installed Corvair engine?  These engines are obviously a bit heavier than something like Rotax/Jabiru/UL.  I suppose the same question could apply to many Viking installations as well.

For example I read somewhere of using a "staggered" approach—using 60A pucks at the top for initial shock absorption and 75A pucks at the bottom to handle the maximum load?  Dunno if that makes any sense.  If it does I'd love to hear how it would change behaviour.

I'm setting up to mold my own pucks for my XL and was just checking for any performance data out there before I decide what durometer mixes to order.
