Zenith used to sell these....I would like to install these on another airframe I have which have not had the wings assembled. Any info on retractable slats (pegastol) would be appreciated

PM me. I can probably help you out.
Hello, I have questions about my pegastol wing. Do you happen to have the plans for this wing? I sent you a friend request.
Thanks
Hi,
I have a set of complete Pegastol wings for the 701. Flaperons need to be assembled. Everything else is finished. I have all the documentation as well as pictures. When I bought the wings I picked them up at the factory. Contact me if you are interested. The wings are in Florida.
send you an add. message me with the price.
Good morning,
Where are you located?
The wings are located in south Florida.
Tennessee. I can be there in 14 hours. my tn is eight seven zero seven three three five two two five.
Hi Shaun,
The wings are finished, slats are finished, flaperons are clecoed together. I have the fuel tanks, fiberglass tips, instructions, struts etc. wing tank covers….
Currently I am away from home but will be back by the 22nd or sooner.
I have pictures and documentation for the wing also.
How far along are you with your project?
Hi Martin,
I actually have two project 701s. Both were actually being flown by previous owners before I bought them. One is complete with no damage but lacks FWF. It has the original moped style wheels and tires with mechanical brake. Roger Dubbert sold me his 'old' main gear spring set up complete for a very nice price but, I've got to rework the brackets because the bolt spacing is slightly wider than the old one.
Second 701 got into a fight with a collapsing barn and did not fare well. In its defense it (mostly) survived while the barn did not fare so well. Aft of the cabin attachment the top of the empennage took a bad hit. Tail feathers are scrap. The leading edge of both wings took damage along with one of the slats. The tabs to attach the slats were sheared off on one.
But.....it came with the late model dual puck matco brakes, matco master cylinders, tundra tires and wheels, Rotax 912 80hp and I managed to get a hub to match it from Warp drive for blades I already had on hand that were serviceable.
I'm looking at a Jabiru 3300 for the one that's missing FWF. I'm pretty sure its not a good fit without the liquid cooled heads so that's a detail I'm still figuring out.
As they say, 90 percent done, 90 percent to go lol.
Hi Shaun,
Wow ! they are some hurting 701’s ! Glad to see you are bringing them back to life.
Now that you mention it I have a three blade Warp Drive prop also that has 300 hours on it.
I assume you have a trailer long enough to carry the wings on.
Trailers I got. Need to buy me about 20 acres and build the big hangar for my retirement gig. Finally did the paperwork to take my AMT tests. Should have done it forty years ago when it was all fresh in my mind. The warp drive sounds like a deal too.
