Looking for Vancouver Island Sky Jeeps

Greetings... with a possible move from Ontario to Vancouver Island, B.C. (Canada) lurking in the not too distant future, I would like hear from any STOL pilots in the area. Especially anyone in the Victoria area that might have a grass strip they would be interested in sharing. I currently fly from my own strip. and don't really look forward to flying my little plane out of Victoria International Airport! So I'm looking for alternatives. Would also like to hear from float pilots. How does that work? Marinas, docking fees, etc.? Don't currently have floats, but Iwith te Jab 3300, I have the potential. Thanks!

If you hear from anyone on this, especially with float planes, I'm interested in the responses.

I'm just across the water on the Washington / US side, but close enough to Victoria to visit via ferry or rental.  Between the islands and the mountains, I'm giving some serious thought to building a STOL750.

[A few years later]

I stopped by Arlington last year and do not see many Zenith planes.  The airshow as a whole seemed slower than I remember from a decade ago.  I think I caught it on the last Sunday, though, so maybe I missed all the action.
