I recently purchase a nearly complete Ch 650 project with this Viking 110 engine installed. I purchased the project for the airframe not the engine. The 650 does not have an airworthiness certificate and has never flown. The engine has about 2 hours of ground run time on it. The engine is complete with the ECU/ harness, dual fuel pumps, cabin heater/fan, stainless steel engine mount, fiberglass cowling, Warp Drive 3 blade prop, bolts, and spinner, throttle cable, documentation/instruction manuals, and miscellanies other FWF parts like coolant reservoir container among other things. All engine sensors are installed on the engine as per the installation manual. The flywheel upgrade appears to have been done in 2016 based on the builder’s logs and photos.

My reason for selling the engine? Honestly I’m not an experimental engine person. I have nothing against Viking, Corvair, Subaru, VW etc engines and believe they have proven their reliability and airworthiness. It’s that I have over 40 years of experience Lycoming and Continental aircraft engines and I have a Lycoming O-235 C1 ready to install on the CH 650. I guess this old dog doesn’t want to learn any more new tricks.
