New Zenith Builder
I'm a new Zenith 701 builder in Big Bear, CA. Purchased a partially built kit last weekend that has 75% completion. I have a 912 X with high comp pistons that makes around 90 hp for the plane.
My previous build was a PulsarXP which cruises at 140 mph so the 701 is a complete low and slow contrast.
I worked in aerospace engineering for 42 yrs before retiring from Boeing. Specialized in composites.
Hope to discuss technical issues with forum as they arise.
