Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers
After 2.5 moths winter sitting I started my Rotax 912 UKS and tach went to over 6500 RPM even though the engine was around 2200. As I was warming up the engine for close to 15 min eventually the RPM came down very slowly to normal readings. Once there the tach was working fine and I had no issues afterwards. Same thing happened last spring. I have Rotax factory analog tach.
Bad sensor? Any other ideas?
