I previewed a lot of different paint schemes that I saw on this forum.  Unfortunately, most were just the profile view, and didn't include either the top or bottom view.  I really wanted to see how the wings would look along with the fuselage.  I finally tumbled to using the three view schematic provided with the plans.  I reduced this to a regular notebook page size.  Then I got some colored pens and markers and started playing with a few different schemes.  I sketched a half dozen or so different schemes.  Ended up deciding on the one on the lower right.  I took it to a local ag airport (their principal business is crop spraying, but they have 2 large hangars and paint airplanes on the side).  The results turned out pretty well.  The only difference was the entire length of the flaperons is in silver (gray,  the scheme is black, gray and gold).  It was really the two views that helped me decide.  Perhaps it will help someone else.

Looks great!

I like it! Well done. I’m trying to figure out what to do with that enormous boxy fuselage of my 701 and this helps.
