We just received the FWF kit with the ULpower 350 engine from Zenith.

The fuel tank selector provided is a duplex (return lines) electric model. The switch has two positions, tank one and tank two. There is no "off" position.

I'm used to a "hand"  fuel selector valve, has anyone installed and operated an electrical fuel valve in their home build?

Thanks for your advice.

I have that electric selector switch in my Cruzer.  Works fine.  I did wire indicator LED's to show which tank is being used.

I have used the same electric switch from cheve/gmc pickups/suburbans with 2 tanks.Dont know current price, but

last one I bought was around $100

Thanks, Tom, The fuel selector is automotive, the installation manual indicates that it should not be used for marine or aviation purposes. I checked the VANairforce forum, no mention of any build using a Pollak electric fuel selector.

Thanks, Perry, I appreciate your feedback. My concern is a single point of failure in case the solenoid circuit fails.
