Question for the masses,
I have the Ray Allen Trim Servo and Rocker Switch as supplied in the Zenith 650 kit. For Avionics, I went with the Dynon HDX, using the Advanced Flight Systems ACM.
I am trying to figure out how to wire the Servo to the ACM, and then the Rocker Switch to the ACM, in order to display Trim position on the HDX. Has anyone successfully done this or something similar? I did my best trying to meld the ACM schematic with the Ray Allen schematic but the servo will not operate.
Of note, the servo does work connecting the white & gray wires to a battery.
Thanks!!

Have trim indicator on D180. 12V to operate servo. Need voltage fed from Dynon to the servo for indication. Think it's 5V. Using the supplied indicator, 12V covers it.
Ben,
Did you come up with a solution for your trim?
I too have the HDX with an ACM.
Also, curious of any other integration issues and remedies.
Thanks.
Yes, I did. And to start, everyone’s product and their customer service is top notch. I will 100% use again and recommend. I called both companies and they were very responsive. But neither of their solutions worked.
So, I kept it “simple”. I wired the switch out of the ACM system, on its own circuit breaker to power and then to the servo. Then, I wired the servo to power, and the 2 “sensor” wires into the ACM system. This allows the position of the trim to be seen on the HDX, but power and CB independent. Not what I wanted for a “clean” look. But the only solution I could find.
Hopefully that helps. I’m not very good with words. If you need a schematic, I could draw one up, but will take me a minute to go back and find the color of the wires.
