Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers
Builders,
I am just curious. The Zenith site reads as though rivets have be to pulled by dies that unique made by Zenith, is that accurate? I do not see these rivet gun heads for sale on the Zenith site? Do they fit most common rivet guns on the market?

I just had to buy a replacement A4 head because I lost mine. They don't list them on the website but if you call or email them they will gladly sell you one or two.
I can't comment on the latter question, only ever used the rivet guy they supply.
Thanks for the quick reply. Once in a while there are good commercial rivet guns go for a real good price, and I wondered if the Zenith heads will fit them, or if they are really that much different?
What do they charge for the head(s)?
$11.90 per head.
That helps. thank you.

get someone to machine them for you
that is what i am going to do
Good link, but unless you have a lathe or someone who works for free, I doubt you could come out ahead if Zenith sells them for less than $12 a piece.
I did like the link to the article by Chris, as well.
Thanks.

You do not need to by their rivet gun but if their tip don't thread on to your gun you can send them your guns tip and they will modify them so you can pull the rivets
super easy to make, heat the head cherry red (propane torch will do it) then drill with 135 deg drill bit until approximate depth stick head in drill and polish with emery cloth. done, done. Like the instructions say, marks on the rivet, drill a bit deeper, marks on the skin, grind a bit off.
What instructions were you referring to? Do you have a link?
