SLSA Kits lead to ELSA kits
STOL CH 750 OFFERED AS READY-TO-FLY LSA! In a joint statement, Zenair Ltd. of Midland, Ontario (Canada) and M-Squared Aircraft of St. Elmo, Alabama, have announced that production of the ready-to-fly Zenith STOL CH 750 Light Sport (LS) aircraft will resume!
The Zenith STOL CH 750 was originally offered as a factory-built S-LSA a number of years ago and we are excited to offer it again!
If an SLSA of the STOL 750 exists then can't ELSA kits be sold and completed without meeting the 51% rule. This would make kit building fast and simple with a few employed helpers. SLSA manufacturers usually offer several instrument packages as well as similar "used" engines as options.
If Zenith would only sponsor one SLSA Cruzer I could build an ELSA with some friends incentivized help in a few weeks. Would definitely sell me an ELSA kit.
