Sticky Fuel Shut Off Valve
Wouldn't you know it... the fuel shutoff valve supplied by ZENITH in my CH 701 kit (ca 2007) is getting very hard to move...I want to take it apart and add some lube. My questions is what lubricant is used for this and what special tips are out there to get it moving smoothly again. You could DM me if you like at madriver42 (AT) gmail.com

Answered my own question...friendly AI on field put me on to EZ Turn

Available from Aircraft Spruce et al Only needed a dab.
You will have to disassemble the valve...core from body...no problem...I did not try to refinish the valve core nor seat...just lube worked OK for me...I suppose if you wanted to remove whole assembly and use something like a valve compound you could get it super smooth...so far just the lube seems to work.
