I hope to complete my 601 quick-build kit firewall back soon. I have not decided on an engine. Looking at the Zenith website they offer a firewall forward package for the EA-81 Subaru Engine which includes engine mount, cowl, warp drive prop., radiator, expansion tank, hoses, bracket, engine gauges, and electrical system for $2,950, "less engine and exhaust system". The engine package from Stratus includes Stratus EA-81 Subaru engine,reduction drive, electric starter, air filters, ignition coil, fuel pump, prop extension. Could anyone offer me advice on this engine option especially (but not limited to) builders who have used this engine option.
