I know there will be as many answers as there are 701 's but here goes. How much rudder are each of you having to input once the plane leaves the ground to keep center line. I have a 912ULS with a 3 blade warp drive set at 12 degrees. The yaw as the plane leaves the ground is pretty dramatic and requires a little coaxing to get everything back on line. As i watch Master 701 jockey Roger in his videos all is smooth as can be. I would love to achieve a smooth transition, assuming no cross wind, as is possible and know that this will come with practice. Any and all tips would be gratefully accepted. 22 hours and counting on 5909C.

All to do with the build, sir! We have one that needs a bit more than the other - but there are loads of factors... If it needs rudder to be safe and keep the ball in the middle - give it.
My favourite 'gentle' take off on longer runways is: smoothly go through 4000 rpm, delay a bit, get the nose up and run on the mains for a sec then go through to full power, get the whole plane off the ground in ground effect and hunt for 50kts, and climb at that....
My favourite 'show off' take off on shorter runways is: stand on the brakes, add power, rock the nose a little and as it comes up release the brakes (instant nose up as you roll), as it accellerates I lower the nose, get the mains off and then climb at 40kts - that take a bit of practice and reduces the safety zone...
master the first one and progress to the second.... just remember your plane is your plane... if it needs rudder - give rudder - but do check the rigging (perhaps you have set up with little left rudder with nose central....) - oh, and at the risk of offence - check your ball... is it level? Above all, be safe!
