Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers
Question for the Masses,
I finished install/build of the Viking 150 on my Zenith 650 back in January and am loving flying the setup. My question to fellow Viking flyers... has anyone recorded or noted temperatures under the cowling? I ask because my cowling and engine "feel" hot after a day of flying. I would like to compare the temperatures of my cowling and different areas of the engine. I have not seen any temps posted or discussed for me to compare to. Does anyone have any info? Is anyone willing to grab a thermometer and take some readings around their engine compartment after their next flight?
Thanks!
