I noticed in zeniths blogs that they used some sort of cleco to hold the spar caps togather. It looked like a giant cleco with a wing nut on the end? I have looked in spruce and could not find anything that even looked close to it. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Greg, a 3/16" bolt/screw works just as well on the big rivets. You can add your own wing nut.

It's a "wing nut cleco" or fastener - used for longer grip ranges (up to an inch) and typically used for larger holes.
The above is a 5/16" wing nut fastener, available from Aircraft Spruce and Specialty.
I went to the aviation department of Home Depot and bought some 10-32 bolts and wing nuts. It was much cheaper than the speciality clecos.
I did the same thing only I believe it was the Lowes Homebuilt Corner. If you also insert some rivets and tape them in place, before adding the wing-nuts, it keeps the alignment good.
Thanks for the info.!!! I like the simple and cheap solutions the best!!!
