This is primarily for 701-750 folk, but anyone can comment.

I'm trying to work out the tire pressure that will give me maximum soft-field flotation and rough-field cushioning without incurring too much rolling resistance on harder surfaces without damaging the tires or rolling them off the rims. Maybe this is just theoretical on my part, so feel free to straighten me out . . .

Thanks for all y'all's input.

I take off and land from my front yard on a 800' strip, up hill incline with a 50' powerline at the end. Need less to say all of my t.o. & langings are Short-field.  My 701 ground tire resistance is important to me, particularly when I have a passenger on a hot summer day. What works well for me is 13 psi on my mains and 10 psi on my nose.

Thanks for the input. Sorry for the late response--I keep forgetting to look at this page.

I like 8 psi for the gravel bars I use.

Dave

Thanks. Sorry for being late.
