When you sell an airplane, either complete or parted out, how do you de-register the transponder, and ADS B out of your name or N number ?

Thanks...Matt

The transponder and ads b are registered to the tail number, when you transfer the ownership

the new owner is responsible for the aircraft.

the only thing that is truly in your name is a 406 ELT, either a permanent install or a portable.

that has to be transferred separately.

did I miss anything? Anyone?

David, Thanks. But what about parting out the airplane ?  If I sell the transponder, or the Uavionix as parts, there will be no registration change.

Transponders are not registered. Go online to change the status of the ELT.

Transponder not registered, but your ads b is programmed by the owner, so if you sell it you should use the ap to clear the memory
