I bought a header for a Suzuki samurai off EBay and cut off the mounting flange and welded on the ones from the Apex sled that I cut down to fit. Several guys have done this already. The exhaust port spacing is the same between the Suzuki and the Yamaha. Total cost about $400 ($150 for header + $250 for welding) I don’t weld so had to pay a welder. You can also buy a bolt on complete exhaust header from BDTurnkey system (Bryan Dacus) for $1800 plus shipping. Bryan also sells a complete engine wiring package with a custom tuned ECU and display. I am just using the stock Yamaha ECU.
Nice and great idea on the Suzuki mod..... Where did the engine mount come front? It is quite robust for sure.....
