Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers
FYI...
Recently noticed that the center thread rod of the Viking steel spring system was making occasional light contact with the top center engine mount tubes. This happend to both top tubes and grazed the powder coating off just about down to the bare metal. That was one reason I elected to swap out to the Zenith rubber puck system. Also felt that the Viking system was harsh and noisy unless on smooth pavement.

Yeah me too. I put a double layer shrinkwrap over the extended thread sticking up and tape wrapped the engine mount at the potential point of contact. I also tightened the top piece a little leftside down to pull the rod a little more toward center. The UL mount is slighly skewed to the left at that point.
