Viking 130 Engine Dying

I have been flying off my Phase 1 testing this summer and the engine has been working well.  I had some cooling issues but seem to be working through that.  A few flights ago, after starting my engine as usual, I was taxiing to the runway and the engine began sputtering, lost RPM and just quit.   Since then it has happened a few times.  I changed the fuel filters, checked the fuel flow and all is normal.  This morning the same thing happened, and I am unable to figure out what is causing the engine to run well for 5-10 minutes and then simply quit.  Any input would be appreciated.

Hi Cory

did you do any troubleshooting immediately after it quit?
can you pull any data on what your fuel pressures were prior to the problem?

I had an intermittent Engine stoppage issue that turned out to be a fuel tank vent problem.

I would definitely post this on the Viking Facebook page where the really knowledgeable people live

Thank you for your feedback.  Prior to the engine quitting the fuel pressures and all readings appeared normal.  The engine would sputter down to 800 RPM then increase a little.  After doing that a few times it would just stop.  Today, there was no sputtering, just an instant stop.  Which tank did you have a vent problem with?  Wing tanks or the header tank.
