Viking 130 with Viking View - prior to first engine start.
Hello all, hopefully you can shed some light for me.
I installed my Viking view months ago and powered up - all looks good. Fast forward to this week and I have all avionics installed - power up and all looks good.
The next day - Oil P shows SHORT on Viking view.
Today - Fuel P shows X as well as Oil P Short.
I'm still not ready for engine start but still - what could be going on?

Jan called and recommended some troubleshooting steps.
The X means no data and the Short is other problems. I determined the Fuel Pressure cable had one bad wire/connection. I simply swapped cables with one of the extra Viking provided in the kit :-)
The Oil Pressure showed Short regardless of what cable I used and which port on the box I plugged it into. I ordered a new pressure sender and Viking is sending a new one out - no charge. :-)
