Viking Takes Alaska in 5 days
We are gearing up for the trip to Alaska, if anyone or their EAA chapter is interested in seeing the Zenith 750 SD with the 180T HP Viking Engine please let us know. If it is along the way we would love to stop in and say hi, fill up the tanks and give anyone who would like the chance to see the plane as well. The goal is to take off in 5 DAYS, next Wednesday so tune in for updates!

You should leave ten days early in case of bad weather. Then, if you get here too early you can help Samuel complete his 750.

Hi Loren,
They are leaving tomorrow morning. That gives them about 9 days. I had a lot of paperwork on my end and things etc. that are required in Canada such as a radio license for the aircraft and pilot and also insurance, customs sticker etc.

Hopefully, they'll have fair winds and following seas, but stay out of the sea. Be nice if he carries a Delorme or Spot so we can track his route.

They delayed an extra day for flight testing. They do have a delorme in which you will be able to follow! I have the link on our forum page!
