SOLVED - Voltage regulator for Spyder 120 HP
SOLVED. The B&C 14V, 30A can be made to accommodate this alternator for OV protection and notification.

Is anyone using a different voltage regulator than the one supplied by Azalea for its 32A permanent magnet alternator? I'm looking to incorporate a switch and light to the alternator via the voltage regulator but the voltage regulator only has one wire to the main bus.
The supplied voltage regulator appears to be a motorcycle PM voltage regulator @32A.

Thanks for the reply. Even though the Azalea Spyder engine PM alternator is 32A, this 20A voltage controller works fine? Or do you have a WW engine w/ 20A?

I'm running the 3.0L Corvair with a rear mounted generator from Fly With SPA, it is 20A which is more than enough for Day VFR flight. I attached a file with the information from SPA and some load data they ran.
The B and C Regulator has a number of features that I was looking for, easy to install, so far I have not had any problems.
