On my 701 on run up my brakes can not hold the 701.  I came across some simple wheel chalks made from ABS plumbing pipe and fittings.  They are very easy to make. You will need  the following material,

6' of 2'' ABS pipe
6' of 11/2" ABS pipe
3 each 2" end caps
3 each 2" 90 elbows
3 each 11/2" end caps
3 each 11/2" elbows
4' of Bungee cord

The pictures show 2 finished and one that just has to have the bungee pulled tight and tied off.  The ones I used at the airport held my 701 easy to 5800 rpm (adjusting prop pitch).  I used the 2" on the front of the tires which puts the 11/2" at the back of the tire.  To put them around the tire you pull the two ends apart place around tire and let go.  The bungee pulls the two halfs together.

Anyway I had never seen these before and thought I would pass the info on to others.

Pat.
