Widow needing to sell 601xl project

i am helping a chapter member’s widow sell a 601xl project . It comes with a Lycoming O235, FWF kit, Dynon D180,tools. Wings were completed before B mod. Wing mod components included, need installed . Fuselage 80% with B mod complete. Located in central Indiana. Workmanship appears to be excellent. Ron I might be interested in the O235 if that is being sold separately. If so , can you give me some details of the engine - mod designation etc. Tks, John

John,

I have a Lycoming O-235-C1 that is for sale if you are interested.

It comes with a McCauley prop, spinner, engine mount, CHT, EGT thermocouples and anything else I can think of. It has 1000 hrs on it and it runs great. Oil analysis was good and compression is good on all four.

It's out of my Cougar/W8. I have a new CH 601HDS so I no longer need the engine.

Hi Rich,

I forgot to mention that the engine also comes with the carb heat muff and muffler.

I am parting out my Cougar/W8 so if you need any instruments, transponder, ELT they are also available.

Rich...Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Ended up going out of town.

I am sending you a copy of the engine log book and oil analysis.

I ran the engine a number of times since owning the airplane but it has never flown.

The previous owner had passed away before starting his phase 1 testing. I had taxied the airplane a few times
before committing to buying it. I dismantled  the airplane in hopes of rebuilding it but my work schedule has gotten in the way and I decided to part it out and buy a flying airplane instead.
