Does anyone have a tip on installing the snap vents while it's cold. I have considered heating with a heat gun, heating in an oven to 125 degrees. They look like they need a big squeeze in get them installed and they also very brittle. Suggestions welcome.

The company recommends the room temperature be at least 70ºf. We were impatient replacing both of our snap vents and did it at around 60ºf with no problem; maybe just lucky. Can't think why a portable toaster oven or heat gun at very low temperatures wouldn't work just fine.
