zenith 601xlb for sale

Joe,

Please confirm this plane incorporates the AD on the wings. I might be interested and am flying my 701 from Georgia to Bradenton FL in October and would like to swing by and check out the plane.

Any issues with the Corvair engine?

hi Lonny sorry for the delay ive had internet problems yes the wing upgrade is done the corvair  runs excellent andpushing past 133 hrs I fly acouple times a week.call if you need any info...

Joe,

I will try to call over the weekend. I am on a job in California at the moment. I am flying my 701 from NY down to my place a few minutes North of Tallahassee. I will be commuting in the plane between there and Bradenton/Sarasota most of the December.

I understand it is for sale currently but if the plane is still available then I am very interested to come look at it. What is the plane's 75% cruise speed and what is the fuel consumption/capacity/range at 75% cruise?

I like the 701 but it is obviously not much of a xcountry plane and I would like to be able to commute to my home in Maryland from South Georgia if I had a little faster plane for the trip.

at 75% cruise is reading airspeed about 115-120   and burning 4.5     gph with the ma3spa carb....poss a bit less in winter the heads are cooler and you can lean  more to about 4gph I'm at my friends house across town using his internet.. my internet is ******........ so any info its best to call..
