Hello. I have the original nosewheel amphib setup but there seems to be a lot of load on the single bolt fittinf for the front cyclinder to nosewheel connection. It does not seem right. This was built a few owners ago and may not have followed specs. The geometry is also maxed out in the water config. There is no large return spring as shown in the manual.

Can you please post a photo of your nosewheel and comment how it is working out?

Thank you

Hi Martin,

Not quite sure what you want to see and know ,I have two springs on the nose gear that close the front wheel on the front retract. I have two different styles of latches but everything else is the same. They are both currently off the plane but I could take and send you pictures? If this helps? Let me know, Tks Wayne.

Thanks Wayne. I think I have it figured that the cylinder is mount about an inch too low. Remounting it up a bit will eliminate the geometric runout ..... all good. Cheers.

My two mount to the nose gear leg where you remove the wheel brackets? Do you need length of retract mechanism?

No thanks.... i got it figured out. Cheers
