I see your thinking of Building a CH 750 and are near by (I am up in Airdrie). Have you taken the plunge and started yet?

As far as the building basics go. I have one of the homebuilt help videos for scatch bulding. I'll bring it with me when I come over and lend it to you.

hi Aidan how are you doing. hope to see you on christmas. from;EDWARD
I've been thinking about building a kitplane for years. I first was interested in real rag and tube stuff, then RV's (the flying type) but what really caught my eye with the Zenith Planes or my pocket book is that I could buy just the plans and build from scratch. I bought the plans for the 701 about 6 years ago, but with family commitments, renovations and a second kayak started and no mad money, nothing happened. I did collect up a lot of tools to scratch build however. Now that I'm back to work and obviously no time to build from scratch I'm thinking I will order component kits. I just about ordered the tail section last week but decided to hold off until mid-February. My whole purpose in going back to work was to have the mad money build a plane. Have you ordered your kit yet?
I don't think you are missing anything, I've been following Zenith for 10 years plus, these are well designed simple to build machines with a lot of them out there flying.
The 601 is a bit of a different story, as it has had some wing failures and fatalities something that has not been attributed to the 701 or 750.
Yes, hope to see you at Christmas, we should make it over by the 23rd or 24th possibly earlier.
