Good Morning Wayne,
Thanks for getting back to me-I appreciate your response. Just a little background-I am building a 750 and did the fuselage first - am now ready to begin the wings and the fuel system. I was not sold on having to cut the big hole in the tanks for the traditional senders-even less so with the recent posts about leaks from the sending units. I have been keeping an eye on the Belite units and had pretty much decided to go with them to the point of talking to my welder neighbour about putting the threaded inserts into the tanks. However, with your timely post I am rethinking as to how to move forward. I have a Corvair engine and so using a header tank is not a consideration. I am really not looking forward to fly cutting my way into the tanks-so I am truly at a bit of an impass.
So-I guess I will have to do a little thinking-we have a Colorado low moving through our area today(I live just a bit north of Winnipeg, Manitoba,Canada) and it is scheduled to drop 6 inches or so of snow, so I will have some time to ponder.
Anyway, I would appreciate if you would let me know how you progress and would welcome your insight.
Again, thank-you for your resply and hopefully we can stay in touch as our builds progress.
Greg Ross
