I anticipate having my 750SD ready for it's maiden flight in May of 2025. Although I have about 1,700 hours flight time, the majority of the time has been in a twin and I have no experience in a STOL.
I would very much appreciate taking a familiarization flight in a 750SD - I will be in Phoenix from November/24 to end of April/25. Does anyone have a 750SD in the area that would consider taking me up for a flight - or in the minimum providing me with their flight characteristics such as approach speeds, etc? (I've posted this in the 750SD Forum as well).
Cheers
Bob
I have located a circa 1997 hangar find Zenith 601 partially completed kit (no finishing kit). I'm thinking about kaking a purchase. The wings are complete and in a cradle. One of our EAA TC's mentioned to me about a Zenith wing spar advisory. I've looked everywhere I can think of and cannot find information on the Zenith spar advisory around this time period. So.....does any one have info they can share with me what the spar fix is and what it looks like? I don't want to tear apart already completed wings if the spar advisory was not done. Thanks!
has anyone installed the bubble doors on a 701
Anyone building or flying the 750 series aircraft around the St. Augustine FL area? Free pair of hands to help with build (I'm trying to see/learn what's involved with such a project). Also flying, (PPL VFR), split costs etc. if someone out there finds themselves flying alone all the time.
Thanks
Mark
Presently installing the one piece fiberglass bubble doors. Is there a technique to "relax" the frames for a more consistent flow with the fuselage. Thought of using a heat gun. Any suggestions?
Has anyone installed adjustable struts? If so what method did you use? I am looking at 750 or 801.
Whats the usual CG for a Subaru 601hds?
Wanted-I'm looking for the new design flap actuator. If anyone has one for sale, I'd be interested. Otherwise I'm going to make my own. Thanks

We have a room for 150, a beautiful bar, and some incredible food for a great banquet. Please go to the Zenith website and sign up for reservations, or you can contact me personally right here on Facebook with your name and how many are coming. Reservations are not needed, but we use the total to estimate the number of people coming. Check out the pictures below, and if you would like a hard copy sent to you personally, send me an email to backstagelive@gmail.com and i will forward them to you. Have a safe flight or drive to Oshkosh and see you at the banquet!
Hey there good people, I'm wrapping up my fuel system repairs an need the correct part number and size for the rivets so I can re install the top wing skins.
I don't have any of the build plans or docs etc and I can find my way onto the online version.
I have a ch801
Thanks in advance.

I sleeved my plastic brake lines with thick clear vinyl tubing over their entire exposed length, then bonded the clear tubing to the edge of the landing gear with a silver adhesive silicone. Protects the tubing and the leading edge of the landing gear from rocks. There is no abrasion, nor any rub points. It hasn't come unstuck after 4 years in service.
Next October 12th we are organazing an owners zenair meeting at Beas de Segura LEBE (Spain). All Zenairs are wellcome to visit us at LEBE with free landing fees and a small gift (courtesy of the airport managers) for all participants.
There will be a lunch menu at 9,5€ (paella) or 6,5€ (BBQ).
Please confirm your attendance.
Happy flights
Has anyone heard about what happened to the guy or company that was making the small digital gages? He was on the Zenith site and they were in color and looked nice.
I used JB weld to mount mine, has held 4 years now
I ordered a set of brake line fairings from Zenith to take the place of the zip ties that are currently supporting my brake lines as they run down the rear of the landing gear leg. I'm wondering what adhesive to use to attach them to my gear legs. Has anyone had any success installing these? If so, what adhesive did you use? Thanks in advance for any help.
