Scott, I use TIG. I've read that gas is easier but I don't know.

Hi Bruce,

What welding process did you use? I just purchased a gas rig and I am attempting to learn gas welding on tubing.

I have all the wing parts but not all the skin material. Also I have the new edition 3 cabin frame and am waiting for the plans for the inboard rib and skin so I can have the added headroom that edition 3 offers. I really like the hand holds better than the previous versions. I also had to purchase the rear wing spars as they were too thick for my 8.5 foot brake and too long for my 4 foot brake. Stuck in the middle!!

Very nice job Bruce.

Bruce, it looks fantastic! I also ordered the cabin frame and the gear, those would have been alittle to tough for me. I see that you have your spars done, the wings went pretty quick. I wish I had my controls done! I plan on getting all the controls done and all electrical and pumbing done this summer. Awesome job!

Hi Steven, I made those and bought the rod ends from Zenith for $9 each (11 of them so far) I also bought the cabin frame (edition 3) because it is such a critical component for the alignment of everything. Starting on wing assembly this weekend.

Hi Bruce, are those factory parts? I believe you are plansbuilding also and if you built your controls where did you buy your rod ends? I searched all over and found Wicks to have some that should work. I havent started making mine yet.
