Dave, I couldn't agree more. In my case, a 30 year+ private pilot, the ground has been something to be avoided all that time. You read about somebody having an accident while buzzing their cousin's farm or whatever, and you just want to avoid that sort of thing entirely.
Flying a PPC at a couple of feet over a plowed field... shooting touch-n-go landings on a country road... flying along and waving at bicyclists in the country and having them wave back... low and slow only begins to cover it. My wife got me into PPCs, and we've become a little addicted.
I'm looking forward to flying a 750 when we want to go a little farther and faster.

Nice, I fly both: a 701 and a PPC.
