I'm using a 240 grit wheel to buff out the surface scratches and to just take off the burs.on the edges. If the scratches don't come out quickly, then the parts get scrapped. Paper thin? .025"? It's a little thicker than paper ;-)

Lots of work done there. FYI... not sure how much deburring your are doing with a scotch pad/wheel... keep in mind this metal is PAPER THIN and any metal removal will weaken the part.
