Just up graded my vertical lower channel on my 701. Notice the differents of the new on the left to the orignal. Channel doublers have been riveted in place on the new. Not showen are the top gussets on the new.

Hi Debra and Patrick,
I wonder if you can give me a recipe on how to replace the bungee cord ring on an operational 701 or direct me to a site that contains such information? How much and what do I need to disassemble?

Best regards

Poul

This is the same problem I had buying an older kit. I guess I need tro call Zenith and order the shorter bungee. My front channel was updated but I guess he didnt buy the new bungee. Thanks or the picture.

I have not yet put the steering arms on yet, is really cold here right now to work out in the shop. I went out and dry fit the steering arms. It will be tight but do not see any problems arising. How wide is your channel? What comes to mine is your rudder pedals, can they be moved outwards abit to allow for more room for the steering arms?

Did you have a problem with the steering arms? I got a new channel and couldn't install it because the new one was too wide for the steering arms.
