Reno-Stead
The "Tres Amigos" refuel and refresh at Reno-Stead, site of the Reno Air Races. Following this, we overflew Pyramid Lake, and Black Rock Desert (think land speed records and Burning Man) to a stop in Burley, ID and on to overnight in Driggs, ID. For me, this photo illustratess one of the strengths of of 601 - powered by Continental O-200, Corvair 2850cc, and Jabiru 3300, all flying together quite happily!
