I installed the front bottom skins in two pieces. The 3M glue just seems to slow the whole process down... each side is about 4 hrs work to rivet in and the 3M has about a 5 hr working time with 1 - 2 day cure. Installing the rear bottom skin in one piece was 10 hr ordeal working alone in the garage.

Humm..the bottom skin is divided in two? That's a long seem to glue and rivet. Would it be possible to bend in a single piece to 3/4 of the float and the aft with another single piece to limit the seems.??

Bob, is there any requirements in terms of keeping the shop to a certain temperature for the glue to set . I know for a fact that big swing in temperature has an effect on hole alignments in aluminum !! I learnt that the hard way...
