Well I was on a long final about 3 miles at approx 700' AGL when I had an engine failure the only option was a narrow logging track about 16' wide and the Zodiac just didn't fit on investigating the engine failure later the mixture cable had broken and the mixture had gone fully lean shutting the engine down a full rich spring set up would of fixed it but then hindsight is a wonderful thing isn't it was a Continental 0-200 engine and I assumed it had one internal in the carbie but no it didn't at least I am here to complain about it and uninjured and still flying it hasn't put me off at all

cheers Kevin
