Thanks Maxwell - yeah it probably was a bit silly to photograph it with both the elevator and trim tab down.  Thanks for the tip, but I'll probably have forgotten it by the time I get to first flight... several years hence!

The trim tab is down relative to the elevator in this photo(parts being top down on the table).  The effect in flight will be up trim (climb).  I only mention it because on the first flight you probably want to be certain of having at least slightly down trim on the elevator (trim tab will be up) so that you do not have a premature take off and unexpected climb.
