The next set of pictures should hopefully help.
The way I did it is not "high tech" but I like the result I got.
I will upload them tomorrow.

This picture shows the flap skin after the first and second bends. If you look closely you will see the line down the center of the skin marking where the third bend will be. I had the manually tweak each one of these bends to get them to be at the proper angles. Not hard to do just takes a little time.
