Take heart Jesse, because of my work area about half of that time is made up of moving things everytime I need to work on a different piece and (re)setting up. Then there is my procratinating.
Thanks for the tips. I had no idea that they would take this long....... maybe I will wait until next winter to finish them, don't want to rush through them just to get done before the boating season starts.
Hey Jessie,
As near as I can tell I have about 94.5 hours in the spars including redo's. When you do your lay-out I would suggest that you be VERY careful with the rivet lines in two areas. First, the areas on the spar root fitting (75W2-7) and the 75W2-4 strut angle. The 75W2-7 the three rivets are VERY close to the spar cap, I had to rivet first and then moved cap back to position and cleco because I was off enough that I coud not get the rivet set without hitting the spar cap. I had the same problem with the strut angle on the rivet thru the spar cap closest to the angle. Just be careful there to avoid having to do creative riveting as I had to do. Hope this helps...
Cool how long did they take? Next on my list.
