February 1st 2011 Salmon Arm Airport-
I learned a good lesson on this flight! I didn't take a fuel sample to check for water, it was -15 C and switched tanks in flight. My left tank fuel line had some water in it from the washdown after the road trip and the line was frozen. My engine stumbled and quit!!! I switched back to my other tank, turned on my elec fuel pump and restarted the engine.

I have never found water in my fuel system, but guess that some entered from washing the plane down at a carwash after the road trip from Ontario. A visual inspection of the fuel tanks before re installing the wings did not revela water.
